Prospector 1 is a purpose built state of the art 33ft charter angling vessel, fitted with twin 210 Cummins "B" engines giving a top speed of 25 Knots.
Fully Licenced and Insured for 12 Anglers / Passengers.
Her facilities and equipment include:
Colour Fish Finder / Sounder, 48 mile Radar, Colour DGPS Plotter, VHF Radio x 2, DSC Radio,
Simrad Autopilot, Colour TV, 406wh EPIRB, Cooking Facilities, Tiolet, Full Safety Equipment and liferaft to support 16 persons.
Prospector 1 is available for big game safari, and is fitted with American - style fighting chair, 22ft outriggers, down riggers, fishdoor and ramp.
Prospector 1 is available for Nature watch - Seals,Whale, Dolphin etc.

The Skipper Peter Power
Peter Power is the owner and skipper of Prospector 1
and he has been a keen angler for over 30 years,ranging from sea angling experience on the East and West coast of Ireland, together with Carribbean and Indian Ocean Big Game fishing experiences, In Addition Peter has considerable angling experience of river, lake and estuary fishing.
TYPES of Fishing:
Wreck and reef and all types of bottom fishing. also morning and evening Mackerel jigging trips available.
Shark and Big Game angling when in season. Shark are cought only 10 miles from shore.
Shark and other Big Game fish appear with the large shoals of Mackerel and the increase in water temperature from mid July and stay until early November.
DEEP SEA , REEF & WRECK FISHING
Species include:
Coalfish, Cod, Conger, Dab, Flounder, (Grey,Red, & Tub) Gunard Herring, John-Dory, Mackerel, Monkfish, Mullet, Pollock, Pouting, Ray, Skate, Smooth-hound, Top, Whiting, Wrass (Ballin & Cuckoo).
Big Game Species Include:
Blue, Mako, Porbeagle, Thresher, Six-gill Sharks.Giant Blue Fin Tuna From Mid August early November.
Broad Bill Swoard Fish also swim with the giant Bluefinn Tuna.

Maximum Guests - 12
For larger parties: Multiple charter boats can be reserved to accommodate large parties. Each boat will accommodate 8 to 12 people. A deposit on each boat is required.
Reservation / Deposit Policy
At the time of booking a reservation, a €200 deposit is required. The balance is payable the morning of the trip.
For larger parties: A €200 deposit per boat is required.

Cancellation/Reschedule/Deposit Refund Policy
If we are unable to run a booked trip (original or rescheduled) due to unacceptable weather (actual existing or forecasted to exceed force 5 to 6 seas), or due to mechanical or electrical boat failure, at your option, you may receive a refund of the total deposit or reschedule the trip (subject to availability).
Should you cancel the trip (original or rescheduled) seven days or less prior to the date of the trip, or if you do not show up on your scheduled date, the deposit is non-refundable.
Payments
Charter payment must be made by Cash, Travellers Checks or Money Orders. Payment by credit card (Visa/MC) is not acceptable as we on Prospector 1 do not have the required facilities. Personal checks are only accepted for deposits and cannot be used to pay on the date of your trip.
