Owned by Creevy Co-operative, Creevy, Ballyshannon, Co Donegal, the Boat is skippered by Brian McGilloway, with vast experience of fishing, cooking, patience and Donegal Bay! Our main fishing port is Killybegs but we also Charter the boat from Creevy Pier.
An Duanaí Mara" is a purpose built 33' Aquastar Sea Angling vessel and was launched by President McAleese. It is powered by a 305hp Cummins engine, allowing a cruising speed of 12 - 14 knots, - Top speed is 18 knots. She is fitted with all the standard electronics and carries all regulatory safety equipment in accordance with Irish Law. There are galley, lavatory facilities available on board and plenty of tea/coffee!
We offer an experience on our boat, with our skipper, Brian, teaching you the 'skills' of fishing. He might even teach you how to fillet a fish and once covered with breadcrumbs, cook it the skully - delicious!
We promote a 'catch and relese' policy on our boat for all species - protected and small, but anyone wishing to take a few fish home are welcome to do so!

Deep Sea Fishing Charters are offered for reef, sand, bottom and shark fishing.
Services available are General Sea Angling, Blue Shark Angling, sightseeing trips, bird watching eco tourism and pleasure boat trips.
An Duanai Mara Charters offers some of the best deep sea fishing in the North Atlantic. The waters surrounding the south west coast of Donegal flourish with over twenty different species of fish. Cod, Ling, Pollack, Mackerel, Coalfish, Haddock, Halibut, Wrasse, Conger, Rays, Blue Shark, and the occasional Porbeagle, are just some of the many species caught. We do in the Interests of conservation operate a catch and release policy for all species although any anglers wishing to take fish home for the table are welcome to do so.
We are also pleased to provide sight seeing trips, there are many areas of special interest within the bay from Mullaghmore to Inishmurray Island and also Rathlin o Beirne Island where seals can be seen basking on the rocks. There is also the ever popular "Sliabh Liag". The cliffs of Sliabh Liag rise dramatically out of the ocean to a height of 601m (1972ft), and thus lay claim to be the highest sea-cliffs in Europe.
You can join us on a bird watching trip or travel out to see the local whales and dolphins at play.

We offer a choice of five Traditional Stone Cottages in Creevy with dedicated angling facilities at each. Private individual sites in original locations, smaller cottages sleep 4 and the larger 6 people.
